of India observed “Swachhta Pakhwada” during 16-31 December, 2019 as per the correspondence received from the Cabinet Secretariat and also the directive by the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation. Since initiation of Swachh Bharat Mission in 2014, ICAR-CIFA is regularly organizing various programmes and activities round the year. As a part of implementation of “Swachhta Pakhwada” campaign during 16-31 December 2019, various Swachhta activities were enthusiastically carried out by the Institute scientists, staff and scholars inits campus, nearby villages, schools and at some tourist places. As a part of Pakhwada activities, a special sensitization workshop on Swachhta mission “Committing to Cleanliness” was organized at ICAR-CIFA on 30th December 2019.
