Bhubaneswar: Vishwa Hindi Divas (World Hindi Divas) is being celebrated every year on January 10, to commemorates the anniversary of the first World Hindi Conference held in Nagpur. Navratna CPSE, National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), also joined the nation to celebrate the Viswa Hindi Diwas at its Units and Offices on January 10, with a view to promote the use of Hindi as official language. As part of the week-long celebration, the Aluminium major organised various competitions in Hindi, including essay writing, noting, and poster competition etc from 3rd January. The winners of the various competitions, were also awarded on the occasion.
