What happens when great human forces meet and come together with each other between Sunrise and Sunsets, that makes a day of success.

When the doom and despondency from the unknown bio-invader Covid-19 paled the horizon of the country, pat came a silver line in Odisha, where some played the Samaritan role to brow-beat the enemy.

It was an endeavor that was not merely a stitch-in-time dose but, a doggedness that still has not faded amid the panic of the pandemic.

Some footprints may not be lasting but the impressions left on the human psyche can never be erased for many years to come.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar and its sister institution Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), inspired by the compassionate vision of its Founder, Prof.

Achyuta Samanta, has always responded swiftly to reduce the suffering of people at the time of natural calamities.

This time also, right from the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, it has been doing its bit to reach out to the worst-affected.

Rain or shine, the above two institutions have always stood by, like rock pillars, with the individuals and organizations as and when any crisis stared at any.

Covid is not merely an invisible enemy but a scary reality that requires more caution than an immediate cure, which is still far from human reach.
