According to the information received, two minors have died and one has been badly burnt due to the falling of a thunderbolt near Mangiaguda village in Koshagumuda block of Navarangpur district.

The two minors who died were Urmila Batra and Hiradei Batra of Temra village.

Both of them had gone to the farm to break vegetables in Mangiaguda village when this accident happened.

At the same time, in the Brahmana chai village of Sheragada block Ganjam district, there has been degradation due to incessant rain and wind.

Several trees uprooted due to strong Norwester winds, resulting in the death of two people.

The names of the deceased are Kanha Pradhan (9) and his grandfather Purnachandra Pradhan.

As per reports, the duo was sleeping in their house this afternoon when the tree fell upon their house and crushed them to death.
