Odisha government will provide free education under Madhubabu Pension Scheme to children whose parents have lost their lives due to Covid-19.

A scheme to provide relief to the widows through pension has also been prepared.

The Chief Minister has said that the village sarpanch will continue to have the same powers as the District Magistrate in their jurisdiction, they can also impose a lockdown.

A strategy to control the spread of Covid-19 in villages has also been prepared with the efforts of the Village Welfare Committee.

CM Patnaik has announced a Covid-19 door-to-door survey for 3 months.

People who have mild symptoms of coronavirus will also be monitored.

Asha workers and Anganwadi workers will be involved in this mission.
