PUCTA members end strike after assurance of salary release

The contractual teachers said if the officials would fail to take any positive steps they would begin their strike from Friday. Nearly, 120 contractual teachers of 14 colleges under the University have been on strike demanding regularisation, among other demands. The teachers said they have been given an assurance of release of salaries within two days.
