Dahan took drug overdose treatment on fake ID

MOHALI: Gangster Dilpreet Singh Dahan , alias Baba, was admitted to PGI for two days in January for drug overdose. Police have started scanning records of the hospital.Cops said during investigation they found that Dilpreet was a regular user of heroin , which he consumed thrice a day. Teams are scanning the records to know how he got himself admitted, as an identity card is a must for drug overdose treatment,” the police officer said.During investigation, Rupinder Kaur also confirmed that Dilpreet suffered a stroke due to drug overdose and was admitted to PGIMER in January. Rupinder rushed him to the hospital with the help of another person, said a senior Punjab police officer. Neighbours, who had witnessed the incident, informed the cops about it after Dilpreet’s arrest..
