NSUI, INSO to boycott student council polls

PANCHKULA: Confusion prevailed throughout the day at Government College, Sector 1, Panchkula and Kalka College, a day after student council elections was declared by the Haryana government after 22 years in the state. Principal of Government College, Sector 1, Dr Archana Mishra, said, “We have formed committees to look into every aspect of the student council elections. NSUI and INSO have decided to hold a protest rally on Friday to make their voice heard.Students of Government College, Sector 1, have been campaigning since morning. Party members of INSO, NSUI and Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) were seen campaigning with stickers of their parties on their shirts.
