Furious over the pro-Pakistan slogans, ex-servicemen of Ambala staged a protest against the event and also burnt effigies of Khali for hurting sentiments of the public.The events organised by Khali have been in controversy for various reasons and some experts called it a publicity stunt.Ambala Ex-Servicemen Welfare Committee under the leadership of president Atar Singh Multani burnt the effigy of Khali and also handed over a memorandum demanding action against culprits to DC.
