During his five-year stint as bank manager at ICICI's Mullanpur branch, the accused had withdrawn the said amount from 12 savings accounts. The accused was fired as the fraud came to light.The SHO said a case has been registered under relevant sections of the IPC and the IT Act. A case of fraud has been registered against the man.
