Man booked for forging degree to get job

Chandigarh: Police have booked a man for allegedly submitting forged certificates of Bachelor of Arts (BA) to get a job in the office of audit accountant general, Punjab. In his complaint to Sector 17 police station, Avasthy V S, senior deputy accountant general (administration), that accused Saini was selected as auditor under the sports recruitment quota in 2015. The university informed that Saini was not its student and it had not issued any mark sheet of BA to him. No arrest has been made so far.Police said the accused has been identified as Dev Saini, a resident of Sector 28. The accused had prepared a fake mark sheets with fake stamps and signature of registrar of university before submitting the certificates in the department..
