Maintain minimum balance: Uber to consumers

CHANDIGARH: Despite notice from the UT administration, online taxi service Uber continues to harass customers by forcing them to maintain minimum Paytm balance of Rs 350. maintaining a minimum deposit of Rs 350. Once a passenger is having a deposit of Rs 200, how can Uber refuse a ride of Rs 50 by asking them to add a minimum Rs 150, i.e. It said insufficient balance when the balance was around Rs 250.The UT administration had written to Uber, asking them “to stop the practice to avoid inconvenience to the public”.
