CHANDIGARH: A day before elections to the posts of mayor, senior deputy mayor and deputy mayor, the BJP struggled to keep its flock together. Cracks deepened during a meeting of BJP councillors at party office Kamlam in Sector 33 on Thursday.Councillors accused senior party leaders of harassing them and leaking information to the media to malign their image. While addressing the councillors, Kher said, ‘We (councillors) are the sepoys of the party and we need to show unity. I have sought her vote.” As many as 27 members will cast their vote on Thursday. As party president Sanjay Tandon was not well, he could not attend the meeting, which aimed at ensuring unity among BJP-SAD councillors..
