MOHALI: Around 20 senegalia catechu trees, popularly known as khair trees, were stolen from Nada forest area near Nayagaon.A complaint has been lodged with Nayagaon police station. The accused were seen transporting the trees in the CCTV footages.The incident took place on Sunday night when unidentified miscreants cut and stole trees from Nada forest area.
