CHANDIGARH: The derailment of a coach near Panipat delayed the elite Delhi-Kalka Shatabdi Express train by an hour on Wednesday morning.Against the scheduled arrival time of 11.10am, the train reached the Chandigarh railway station at 12.15pm because of the accident. The Himalayan Queen also arrived almost 50 minutes late, since one of its coaches had also slipped off the tracks.Northern Railway issued a statement that the Himalayan Queen train number 14095 with rear seating and luggage rake (SLR) had derailed near Bhodwal Majri in Panipat district of Haryana at 6.52am, affecting seven trains on that route. The railway traffic on the line was affected for some time, while the damaged railway tracks were being repaired.
