CHANDIGARH: Panjab University on Tuesday changed the date of the entrance exam of CET UG to April 30. Earlier, the exam date was clashing with the university’s convocation scheduled for April 28. The matter had also come up for discussion in one of the senate meetings and an assurance was given that the exam centres for undergraduate entrance exam will be set up at regional centres as well for the convenience of students. The subsequent year also saw certain glitches in the online admission process.A PU committee had recently recommended setting up examination centres for PU-CET undergraduate across its regional centres in Punjab. The PU-–CET (UG) is for admission to BSc (Hons) and B Pharmacy in Panjab University.Moreover, the university has also postponed the date of entrance test for PU-BA Bcom LLB (Hons) five-year integrated course entrance test, 2019, from May 19 to May 26 at 10 am to 11:30 am..
