Tribune News ServiceChandigarh, June 4The Punjab Government today announced to set up a state of the art 10m indoor shooting range in Phase 6 in Mohali, which would be made available to shooters before March 31 next year. The foundation stone of the range was laid by Punjab Sports Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi and Cabinet Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu today. Sodhi said that the state government is undertaking efforts to lift the sporting standards in the state. A shooting range at Mohali is already functioning whereas the new 10m indoor shooting range would be of Olympics standards. The two ministers also inspected the already functional shooting range at Phase 6, which was in a neglected state for the past several years..
