Summary:

While 3,500 participants, including UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore and the UT top brass, were performing yoga on mats, four ITBP jawans performed it on the back of four horses. A perfect balance and synchronisation between the well-decorated horses and the jawans was at display as they stretched for about an hour without any hiccup. It is tough to strike a balance between horses and jawans as in yoga a lot of stretching is involved. It is the first time that jawans did yoga on horses,” said ITBP Deputy Commandant Raveshwar Rana. There are a total of 38 trained horses at the Bhanu-based training centre..
