Chandigarh, June 21The three-day World Music Day celebrations by the Chandigarh Tourism began with Punjabi singer Amrit Maan enthralling a large crowd at the Sector 17 Plaza here today. The boisterous yet trained voice of the lyricist, singer and actor wafted the otherwise busy Plaza complex. Sensing the mood of the crowd, he doled out foot-tapping numbers like ‘Jatt Fatte Chakk, Nakhra and Sheran De Shikar. He presented ‘Maa Hundi Ae Maa’ and ‘Boot Palishan Kariye’ immortalised by Kuldip Manak and Gurdas Maan, respectively.
