Chandigarh, June 26In a relief to residents of housing societies, the UT Administration today gave six months extension in a one time relief for execution of the conveyance deed. Now, housing societies will be able to execute conveyance deed upto December 31. On the persistent demand of residents of societies, Kirron Kher, Member of Parliament, took up the matter with the UTAdministrator and requested him to give six months extension. The execution of conveyance deed was allowed at the actual amount paid by cooperative societies till June 30, 2019. As per the scheme, group housing societies are allowed to register the conveyance deed at the rate of allotment, which is Rs 750 per sqyd for 1993 allotments and Rs 2,850 per sqyd for the land allotted in 2001..
