However, owners of coaching institutes met officials of the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran for seeking a month’s time to shift their institutes or make some alternative arrangements so that the studies of the students do not suffer. Confirming the same, Estate Officer Ashutosh Rajan said representatives of the coaching centres had met him and had sought a month’s time. The District Town Planning Department has been directed to see if the Chandigarh Administration has given any such approval. He said earlier, tenants were replying to their notices, but after the resumption order, owners of the hotels sought two-week time for removing the illegal construction..
