MLA Gian Chand Gupta had recently announced that the solid waste management plant would come up at Jheuriwala village as no land was available with the MC. The Municipal Corporation (MC) had no option except to set up plant at the designated site, the MLA said while adding that that foundation stone for the plant would be laid within two weeks at Jheuriwala village.
