Stagnant rainwater irks Kharar residents

Some residents, including Jaswant Singh, Om Parkash, Jeewan Singh Dalit Singh and others, say, “The colony is waterlogged as the Municipal Council has failed to make proper arrangements for the draining of rainwater.”“Guru Nanak Colony is situated on the Badala road in Ward No. 26 of the Kharar Municipal Council. Despite repeated requests to the Municipal Council no action has been taken to drain rainwater from the area,” they said. “We have constructed our houses after getting maps approved from the Municipal Council, but no basic amenities have been provided in the area,” they said. We have urged the adminstration to flush out rainwater from the colony,” he added..
