Bad condition of parks irks walkers

Kharar, July 18A delegation of the Sunny Enclave Residents Welfare Association (SERWA) met officials of the Kharar Municipal Council (MC) and gave them a memorandum regarding bad condition of municipal parks, especially Shanti Kunj. Rajinder Singh Babbo and Ashok Kapoor, president and general secretary of the SERWA, respectively, told officials of the civic body that wild grass had grown in Shanti Kunj. Slabs on the drain, which passed through the park were broken at many places, they added. Stray animals, including milch cattle and dogs, could be seen moving freely in the park, they said.
