Tribune News ServiceChandigarh, August 20Continuing the drive, the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) demolished three unauthorised constructions in Mauli Jagran here today. So far, the Enforcement Squad of the Chandigarh Housing Board has identified 77 unauthorised constructions/alterations and on-the-site challans have been issued. An official of the Chandigarh Housing Board said 23 structures have already been demolished in Sector 45, Dadu Majra, Sector 56 and Mauli Jagran. In eight cases, the allottees have stopped the further constructions till a decision is taken on their applications for regularisation under “need-based changes”. In remaining 37 cases, the violations will be demolished in the next few days at various locations..
