UT teachers being trained to hone social skills of students

The training is a part of an MHRD project, National Initiative for School Heads and Teachers Holistic Advancement (NISHTHA), in which 2,700 elementary teachers (Class I to VIII) are being trained on various modules at six centres. Among 16 modules, ‘Developing personal-social qualities for creating a safe and healthy school environment’ plays an essential role. According to the module, personal-social qualities will be induced in the school curriculum in order to create space for the development of cognitive and personal-social capabilities of the students.
