Vipin Kapoor, managing director of Kapsons Agencies, had challenged the order demanding an additional premium of Rs 1.45 crore with regard to his SCO 136-138 in Sector 17. The appellant’s counsel, SK Jain and Vikas Jain, stated that the Estate Office had erroneously adopted the provisions of the notification. After hearing the response of the Estate Office, the Chief Administrator found the claims of the appellant justified. Sources said the decision would bring relief to the owners of a large number of buildings in Sector17, who had been facing the similar notices issued by the Estate Office..
