The committee report had accused Chadha of fraud while giving e-rickshaw contract to a private, Faridabad-based company. The committee was constituted by Panjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Raj Kumar to conduct an inquiry into the e-rickshaw service on the university campus. The report of the committee states: “The committee strongly felt that while framing the tender and contract, appropriate procedure had not been followed.
