Chandigarh, November 16A local court has acquitted gangster Yodh Singh, alias Jodha, and his two accomplices — Lovepreet and Amrik Singh — in a case of robbery at gunpoint, as the prosecution failed to prove the charges. He was made to sit in the car and robbed of his purse containing Rs 10,000 and a mobile phone at gunpoint. During the trial, the defence counsel, Vaneet Kumar, argued that the accused were falsely implicated in the case. The complainant had stated that he never accompanied cops for any recovery, but the police mentioned that they recovered case property in front of the complainant, which was also identified by the complainant, stated the counsel.
