Self-defence training imparted to 13 girls

Chandigarh, December 3A three-week long self-defence training programme, ‘Swayam’, for visually-impaired girls culminated today with a demonstration by 13 girls of the Institute for the Blind, Sector 26. The training was conducted by the Chandigarh Police and was organised by the RCS Positive Abilities Rotaract Club and the institute. The training was conducted by Head Constable Sanjay and Lady Constables Pooja and Sonia. The girls also showed the strength and coordination they had achieved by breaking tiles with the palm of their hand.
