The Senate will take a call on the GATE/GPAT/PU entrance test score to be the minimum qualifying criteria for admission to MPhil and PhD. The 15-member committee, on May 22, also considered the request of persons with disabilities regarding the provision of a special admission drive for those who want to pursue MPhil and PhD. The Senate will also take a call on the proposal of Prof Akshaya Kumar from the Department of English and Cultural Studies regarding alterations and additions in the research regulations of MPhil and PhD students.
