Chandigarh December 4Causing much inconvenience to commuters the Municipal Corporation (MC) seems to have forgotten to recarpet roads after scraping a layer of asphalt. However the recarpeting work was yet to be carried out on these roads. Earlier the recarpeting work in the city was hit as the MC had floated tenders in June but failed to get any bidders. The civic body floated tenders again in July following which the recarpeting work was started.
