Panchkula January 16A 40-year-old sanitation worker was given the first Covid-19 vaccine at the Civil Dispensary in Sector 4 here as Panchkula began its mass vaccination drive at three centres today. She was the first beneficiary from the district as well as the state to get the jab. The worker identified as Saroj Bala who has been working at the same dispensary for the past 20 years received a Covishield jab. Though her 17-year-old daughter had shown concern about the vaccine last evening confident Saroj went ahead and got inoculated.
