Mohali March 4As many as 829 persons — 672 senior citizens and 157 aged 45 to 59 with comorbidities — were administered the Covid vaccine at seven government hospitals and 29 private hospitals in the district today. A total of 1988 senior citizens and 292 persons aged 45 to 59 have been jabbed so far. Civil Surgeon Adarshpal Kaur said 128 and 190 healthcare workers (HCWs) were given the first and second dose of the vaccine respectively. She said similarly 202 and 26 frontline workers (FLWs) were given the first and second dose of the vaccine. So far 5834 and 2896 HCWs and 4192 and 37 FLWs have got the first and second dose of vaccine respectively..
