Chandigarh, Sep 19 (PTI) Punjab on Sunday reported 29 fresh coronavirus cases that took its infection tally to 6,01,264, while one more fatality pushed the death toll to 16,468, according to a medical bulletin.Of the fresh cases, four were reported from Ludhiana and three each from Gurdaspur and Hoshiarpur, the bulletin said.There are 317 active COVID-19 cases in Punjab, it said.Twenty-six more people recovered from the disease, taking the total number of recoveries to 5,84,479, it added.Chandigarh"s COVID-19 tally climbed to 65,181 with five fresh cases, the bulletin stated.The death toll remained unchanged at 818, it said.The number of active COVID-19 cases in Chandigarh stands at 37, while 64,326 people have recovered from the disease so far, according to the bulletin.
