DHBVN team raids telecom tower, detects power theft

Gurgaon: In an attempt at tightening the noose around power thieves, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) caught miscreants red-handed stealing the electricity at Indus Mobile Tower at Durgapur Village at Palwal Road. We immediately levied a fine of Rs 6 lakh and ordered further probe," Malhotra said.An FIR has been filed, the probe will further reveal the magnitude of theft. The investigation team that conducted the raid included SDO DP Yadav, junior engineer Rohtash, and constables Ajit Singh and Dharmendra Pradhan.
