She also directed officials of the National Highway Authority to clean the drains on both sides of the GT Road. Concerned over an increase in the pollution level, Deputy Commissioner Kamaldeep Kaur Brar directed the Industries Centre, Mandi Gobindgarh, to plant 1,000 saplings in the town. She also directed the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board to ensure the use of water released from the sewerage treatment plant for irrigation and construction purposes.
