On Friday, Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh had visited Khiala Kalan and Sahnewali villages in Mansa to inspect the fields where pest attack has been reported. BATHINDA: The Punjab agriculture department has devised a new plan to tackle the whitefly attack on cotton. Singh said the entire department was on its toes to deal with the pest attack. PAU experts have directed the agriculture officials to focus on the places where ETL is high and take remedial measures.
