Commuters boarding MTC buses at the Keezhkattalai bus terminus want its parking capacity increased and have placed this request with the Pallavapuram Municipality. Commuters want these additional lots to be created on three sections of the terminus which are now overrun with derelict vehicles. “There are no direct bus services to Sholinganallur or other places on the IT Corridor, forcing commuters to board two buses. Once the buses are acquired, steps will be taken to introduce services between Keezhkattalai and IT Corridor and Vadapalani and Saligramam.”A Municipality official has said that the feasibility of creating additional parking lots at the terminus will be studied..
