430 leprosy cases detected

more-inA total of 430 new cases of leprosy were detected during the first phase of the Active Leprosy Case Finding conducted from July 2 to 13. The Active Leprosy Case Finding was conducted in blocks that had more than 10 new cases per lakh population last year. Among the 430 newly detected cases, 120 were children.
