CHENNAI: Chennai Metrowater Supply and Sewage Board will hold an open house meeting at all its area offices on December 8.Consumers can furnish their complaints regarding water supply and sewage removal. A statement from Metrowater said action had been initiated to rectify the remaining 12 petitions. They can also clarify their doubts regarding water, sewerage tax, new connections, maintenance of rain water harvesting structures and water charges during this meeting.These meetings are held from 10am till 1pm on the second Saturday of every month.The area offices where the meeting will be held include Thiruvotriyur, Manali, Madhavaram, Tondiarpet, Royapuram, Thiru-Vi-Ka Nagar, Ambattur, Anna Nagar, Teynampet, Kodambakkam, Valasaravakkam, Alandur, Perungudi and Sholinganallur.The superintendent engineer of each of these areas will head the meeting that is aimed at redressing grievances of public.Last month, at a similar open house meeting, 37 petitions were received and 25 of them have been rectified..
