Man murders father, cousin over property dispute

MADURAI: A man and his nephew were murdered by his son and another nephew over a property dispute near Bodinayakkanur in Theni district of Tamil Nadu on Saturday night. There had been frequent disputes between Eashwaran and his son, Kamalakannan, as the latter was demanding that his father transfer his properties to him. However, Eashwaran was not ready for that and often threatened his son that he would transfer his properties to Pandi.The property dispute turned murkier on Saturday night. Pandi was the son of Paunthai.Eashwaran had a piece of land and a house in his name, police said. Police arrested the accused.The deceased have been identified as Eashwaran, 60, of TVK Nagar near Bodinayakkanur and his nephew, Pandi, 25.Eashwaran, a mason by profession, was staying with his siblings, Paunthai and Kamaraj..
