Forest officials rescue python in Trichy

TRICHY: Forest department personnel rescued a seven-foot-long python that was caught in a fishing net in the Olaiyur tank near Trichy on Monday. Later, they released the python into a reserve forest area near Manapparai.A group of youngsters who were fishing in the tank saw the snake in their net and alerted the forest department.
