CHENNAI: Unable to find a public toilet in Chennai? R Mahalakshmi of Dhagam Foundation who recently conducted an audit after visiting 613 toilets across the city said 60% of the people said they will never use a public toilet because of its poor maintenance and lack of facilities. The application also provides a platform for the people to give feedback and review the toilet.This has been funded by the Centre. The Greater Chennai Corporation along with the Union ministry for housing and urban affairs and Google has integrated the locations of about 6,701 toilets in 853 locations with Google maps.People can locate them by just typing 'toilet' in the maps.
