On February 20, when the appeal came up for hearing, the division bench ordered status quo on the probe and the enquiry made by the Internal Complaints Committee. Besides vacating the stay against the CB-CID probe, the judge also suggested that the chief secretary install CCTV cameras in the chambers of all senior officers to prevent such allegations. Thereafter, the interim relief was extended on February 28 until further orders.The appeals were moved against an order passed by a single judge of the court on February 14.
