Nandanam signal to open for 4-way traffic in April

CHENNAI: The Nandanam junction will be opened for four-way traffic from the second week of April, the Chennai traffic police said.After Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL) took over part the stretch to lay metro lines below Anna Salai in 2012, traffic was disrupted and made two-way. Now, vehicular movement on both sides are allowed from Cenotaph Road and Nandanam signal . However, at least a 200-metre stretch on Venkatanarayana Road remains closed.
