Mitr Cafe, a support centre for ‘making friends in the special needs world of children and adults’ is back with the third edition of its Pre-Navratri Mela. “In all the events we host at Mitr, we involve people who work with children and adults with special needs. All the products that will be exhibited in this exhibition are either made or procured by the special needs community,” says Vimal Balachander, founder of Mitr Cafe. With previous editions averaging a footfall of 500-600, Vimal says the Mitr family hope to witness a thousand this year.
