Chennai: With the number of coronavirus cases increasing in Tamil Nadu the State government has made 'e-pass' mandatory for all international and domestic passengers coming from other States/UT excepting Karnataka Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry. According to the latest guidelines released by the Tamilnadu Health and Family Welfare Department in the wake of the increasing number of cases in the state business travellers on a short 72-hour trip or less than three days to TN are now exempted from home quarantine. They should do an RT-PCR test and carry the Covid-19 test negative report before departure. The test should have been conducted within 72 hours prior to departure to India and uploaded on the portal www.newdelhiairport.in.
