Singapore eyes more travellers from secondary cities in India

Coimbatore: Singapore Tourism Board on Wednesday unveiled its plans to focus on secondary cities in India to boost both arrivals and tourism revenue. “At least 6.1 lakh Indians had visited Singapore in the first three months of this year alone. “Many people may have already visited Singapore and done a general sightseeing trip. Hence, we are planning to tap the secondary cities.” Srithar said they want people to know that Singapore was a destination that can suit all wallets, varied interests and passions. “Our largest cruise visitors are from India.”.
