Tirupur: A 21-year-old labourer from Assam was killed in an accident after a mini truck hit him on Sunday.The deceased was identified as Tazomul Islam of Nagaon district in Assam. According to a police officer, Tazomul came to Tirupur to work in a private textile mills. When he and his colleague Sadikul Islam from Assam were sitting in front of in the mills on Kasipalayam Road, a minitruck hit them.Tazomul died at Tirupur government hospital while Sadikul was referred to a private hospital as he was injured severely.
